Position Summary
The Senior Reporting Analyst reports to the Manager, Corporate Reporting and is responsible for delivering various reports of financial information to both senior management and to external users (mainly the shareholders). The reports encompass the consolidated worldwide operations of Methanex. Key responsibilities include activities such as analyzing regional and consolidated monthly and quarterly financial results (including forecasts); preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and related disclosures; technical accounting analysis for new standards or changes in the business; and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives to align regional reporting, and system changes.
