Senior Project Engineer

Overview

The Senior Project Engineer role is part of the Engineering Management Centre of Excellence group within the Engineering Management Technical Professional Organization (TPO) of Engineering Services Canada. The role supports the delivery of Engineering Services on a large civil infrastructure project in Calgary. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the senior engineer will assist in planning, design, and execution of civil infrastructure components for a major LRT project and will coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards and deliver the project on schedule and within budget.

Your Role

• Review and validate design submissions, technical reports and engineering deliverables for compliance with project requirements, codes and standards.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure constructability, safety and lifecycle considerations are integrated into design decisions.
