Senior Pricing Analyst

The role

The Senior Pricing Analyst will support the end-to-end pricing of our insurance products through best-in-class data analytics, modelling and implementation. The Senior Pricing Analyst is a highly technical role and ensures our insurance pricing decisions are based on robust data-driven analysis and a deep understanding of risk-based pricing.

Location: Brisbane or Sydney

Position Accountabilities:

General

• Understand sources of data, its limitations, and uses within the team
• Analyse, interpret, and extrapolate data from a number of sources to resolve complex issues
• Efficiently manage and manipulate very large data sets
• Implement complex rating changes and quantify the expected impact on the portfolio
• Draw insights and provide recommendations on next steps
• Explain technical work and communicate findings to senior management
