Senior PostgreSQL Specialist / DBA (Hybrid – Brussels)
We are looking for an experienced Senior PostgreSQL Specialist to support a large-scale database modernization and cloud transformation program focused on PostgreSQL on Microsoft Azure.
The role combines hands-on engineering, database architecture, migration leadership, automation, and mentoring within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement PostgreSQL architectures on Microsoft Azure
- Manage PostgreSQL environments including HA, networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery
- Lead Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects, including schema assessment, PL/SQL refactoring, data conversion, and cutover planning
- Optimize database performance through tuning, partitioning, vacuum strategies, and capacity planning
