Senior Physical Hydrogeologist

The Senior Physical Hydrogeologist applies senior technical expertise, execution, guidance, and oversight in the management and completion of hydrogeology projects. The role includes mentorship and training of junior and intermediate hydrogeologists, and participation as a Reviewer for MEMS reports to ensure the quality and delivery of physical hydrogeology services to MEMS clients.

Responsibilities

• Scope and manage hydrogeological studies for environmental assessments or impact assessments for in-situ oil sands, coal mine or other projects, including the determination of regional and local hydrogeological setting and baseline groundwater quality assessments.
• Proposal preparation including assessing project requirements and client needs, scope definition and risk assessment, and development of an execution plan.
