About the Role

                 
    Key Responsibilities:   

   Manage and maintain central Oracle environments, including upgrades to core versions.  

   Ensure high availability using Oracle RAC.  

   Handle backup/restore with Oracle RMAN strategies.  

   Perform planned/unplanned failovers and troubleshoot connectivity issues.  

   Conduct maintenance: optimize/tune memory, I/O, indexing, queries, access, tablespaces, and schemas.  

   Lead capacity planning, incident response, and root cause analysis.  

   Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams.  

   Write complex SQL, functions, triggers, and database objects.  

   Design/implement reports and report interfaces.  

   Apply security best practices for Oracle databases.
