Senior Optical Network Engineer, Google Global Networking

**Minimum qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 6 years of experience with one or more optical technologies (e.g., optical transceivers, optical metro, or long-haul Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems).
+ Experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Go, or Python).
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Experience with network equipment manufacturer or network operator in engineering or design role.
+ Experience with planning and designing large scale networks (e.g., multiple sites, multiple products, etc.)
