About the Role
Key accountabilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of hybrid and multicloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Operate and optimize Apache Kafka clusters, including Mirror/MirrorMaker configurations for replication and resilience.
- Support database platforms such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL (replication, scaling, backups) – considered a plus.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, and Elastic.
- Drive DevOps/GitOps practices through automation with Ansible, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD), and scripting (Bash, Python, Go, YAML).
