About the Role
Responsibilities
- Handle network related activities including switch configurations
- Configuration and troubleshooting of network equipment (e.g. Cisco switch and routers)
- Perform configuration and implementation of network infrastructure (including routers, switches, servers, DWDM and network acceleration/QoS appliances)
- Installation and test and commissioning of network devices
- Monitoring of network performance and integrity
- Issues resolution and troubleshooting on network infrastructure
- Ensuring currency of network diagrams and support documentation (for as-built, configuration documentation and Quick Reference Guides)
Requirements
- Good understanding of network switching, routing and telephony protocols, LAN and WAN
