Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer – responsible for designing, modeling and validating handling equipment such as cranes, gangways, launch and recovery systems, and winches. Must collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineers and technical coordinators throughout all project phases.

Duties and responsibilities

• 3D modelling using Autodesk products (Inventor, Vault, etc.)
• Design and perform calculations for handling equipment (cranes, gangways, launch and recovery systems, winches) according to specifications and budgets
• FEM analysis (ANSYS) and manual calculations (Excel, Mathcad, etc.) with accompanying documentation
• Assist the Concepts and Solutions department with technical expertise during sales and pre‑engineering phases
• Prepare production documentation (2D drawings)
• Populate and maintain the quality of the Seaonics Product Library
