**The opportunity**
This position is accountable for designing, developing, testing, delivering, maintaining and improving business applications as a member of a team, works across full-stack through entire software development lifecycle. Ensuring software implementation are complied with Manulife technical and security standard.
**Responsibilities**
+ To plan, guide, align & maintain IT systems (strategic & operational plans).
+ Monitors and understanding of currently emerging technologies.
+ Guides the development of the corporate architecture and design of technical blueprint.
+ Provides work breakdown structure and effort estimation for IT project.
+ Ensures engineering best practices and design decisions are applied into implementation of systems.
+ Ensure appropriate levels of risk skills and experience within the team to support consistent risk management practices.
