PTS Advance is seeking a Senior Fire Protection Engineer to join a leading AEC client supporting complex, high-impact building and infrastructure projects across Illinois.

Location: Chicago (Hybrid/Onsite options depending on client)

Role Overview

This individual will lead fire protection engineering design efforts from concept through construction, supporting mission-critical, healthcare, commercial, and institutional projects. You’ll serve as a technical leader in life safety, code compliance, and fire protection system design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design of fire protection and life safety systems (sprinkler, standpipe, fire alarm coordination support)
• Perform code analysis using NFPA, IBC, IFC, and local AHJ requirements
