Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Teaching Lab

Role Overview

The incumbent will support the smooth operation of undergraduate Physics teaching laboratories and divisional activities in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty coordinators with curriculum planning, marking schemes, scheduling of course activities, and development of experiment materials.
• Test and implement new experiments, manage online course platforms, hire and brief TAs/markers, and ensure timely submission and grading of student work.
• Monitor student progress and ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices.
• Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to students and TAs, perform routine maintenance and repairs of lab instruments, liaison with vendors for servicing, and support software/IT needs for lab operations.
