Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for capacity, manpower planning, space utilization and layout and improvement commit, and execution follow up
- Lead and manage IE team and engineering to drive for improvement and consolidate the data
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering or its equivalents with at least xx years of relevant work experience in Industrial Engineering or Lean Manufacturing (functional skills)
- 5-10 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
Skills
- Leadership capabilities to manage a virtual team or physical team
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
- AutoCAD knowledge, MTM or other work measurement methods
- Lead tools and VSM
