**TECHNICAL**

+ Knows how to perform complex engineering analyses and develop complex deliverables within discipline
+ Applies standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and cost estimating
+ Understands standard contract requirements and scope as they relate to discipline work
+ Knows technical issues related to discipline and how to discuss with third parties (customer, suppliers, and regulators)
+ Knows how to coordinate technical issues within discipline, with other disciplines, and with engineering staff
+ Understands roles played by other departments on projects
+ Familiar with methods of procurement, including bid and evaluation process
+ Experienced with leading a group of engineers and/or designers within the discipline
+ In-depth knowledge of specific standards
+ Familiar with all WSP design guides and standards relevant to discipline
