Job Description – FTTx Design Engineer
Role Summary
We are looking for a FTTx Design Engineer with strong domain expertise in FTTx networks and good exposure to cloud-native, Dev Ops, and automation technologies. The role requires hands-on involvement in FTTx solution design, integration with OSS/NMS systems, and customisation of existing software components , working closely with cross‑functional engineering and operations teams. The candidate should be self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in complex, multi-vendor telecom environments.
The role involves working across design, build, test, activation, and assurance phases of FTTx services and supporting end‑to‑end delivery in a multi‑vendor telecom environment
Location : Any Capgemini Office Locations
Key Responsibilities
Design, Build and Test FTTx network architectures , including access and aggregation layers, aligned to customer and programme requirements.
