About the Role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure on AWS
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar tools)
- Manage containerized applications using Docker across Nix and Windows environments
- Deploy applications on AWS, Heroku, and Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring and alerting using tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch, or Prometheus
- Apply security best practices including firewalls, intrusion detection, and system hardening
- Monitor system performance and collaborate with developers to improve scalability and efficiency
- Support RDS PostgreSQL management and explore NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB
- Optimise and manage cloud costs effectively
