About the Role
Join Quanteam as a Senior Big Data Java Developer in Montreal, a hybrid role designed for skilled professionals in the financial services sector. Collaborate with a global team of experts while leveraging Java and Big Data technologies.
Your responsibilities will encompass acting as a Big Data Cloud Expert while managing projects utilizing the Data Lake platform. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in Java development and architecture, contributing to the maintenance and evolution of our Big Data services on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide the evolution of Big Data offerings on Azure
• Act as the main contact for AMER region projects
• Automate Big Data service creation using Java APIs
• Implement performance improvements in Spark
• Conduct POCs to explore new Big Data technologies
