About the Role
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Possess detailed and functional knowledge of the Marine Corps and joint/combined planning processes, Marine Corps and joint doctrine related to Fires, joint targeting process, joint Air Tasking Order process, joint Theater Air-Ground System and Marine Corps Aviation Command and Control System, and Fires C2 systems i.e. AFATDS, JADOCS. Conduct tactical and operational planning at the conceptual, functional, and detailed levels for service and functional component and joint headquarters organizations related to Fires. Assist government counterparts in the instruction and training of designated staffs in the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) and evaluation of operations orders produced by Training Audiences, including Warfighting Seminars and PPAs. Perform Observer Trainer Collector (OTC) duties in support of MSTP exercises. Provide analytical support for all phases on the MSTP Exercise Life Cycle.
