About the Role
A specialist SEN partner school in Sunderland is recruiting for an SEN Maths Teacher to support pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs.
The school provides education for pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD and associated communication difficulties. Staff work closely together to provide a consistent and supportive environment where pupils can thrive academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Supporting pupils with varying learning abilities
- Using creative and practical teaching strategies
- Supporting behaviour management and emotional wellbeing
- Working alongside Teaching Assistants and pastoral teams
- Monitoring progress and supporting EHCP targets
