We are recruiting for a permanent SEMH Teaching Assistant position within a specialist independent school that is part of a highly respected SEN trust.

The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs alongside Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties. Staff work within small class groups and benefit from strong therapeutic support and a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing tailored classroom support to pupils with additional needs
  • Encouraging emotional resilience and positive social interaction
  • Supporting behaviour management strategies consistently
  • Helping pupils access learning in a safe and engaging environment
  • Assisting with transitions, routines and pastoral support
  • Contributing to EHCP outcomes and pupil progress
