About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Teacher to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a supportive and inclusive school environment in Kidderminster. This flexible role offers full-time, part-time, or contract opportunities, starting in January 2025. As a SEMH Teacher, you will provide vital support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and promoting positive emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored lessons and support to students with SEMH needs
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to provide additional support
- Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours, providing positive reinforcement
- Support students in developing social and emotional skills to engage with learning
