Security operations engineer

SUMMARY AND PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Operations Engineer to join our IT Support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and enhancing the security posture of our IT infrastructure. This role involves identifying and mitigating security threats, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

SCOPE OF WORK: DELIVERABLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES Security Monitoring and Incident Response Monitor security alerts and logs from various sources (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, etc.) Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
