USRA is seeking a Scientist to support research in low-gravity exploration technology and materials science. Work will focus on combustion, fluid mechanics, and transport processes in microgravity and partial-gravity environments, as well as polymer aerogels. Research will follow NASA-approved procedures and results are expected to be published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities:**

+ Collaborate with project scientists and provide technical expertise.
+ Lead multiple research projects and mentor graduate and undergraduate interns.
+ Contribute to planning future scientific initiatives.
+ Publish research findings and present at conferences.
+ Participate in customer reviews and independent project milestone reviews.
