ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Research Scientist in the Integrated Composite Processing Section. This position requires the applicant to lead and conduct research in advanced fibre-reinforced composites forming, welding and moulding technology, study and characterization of composite structures, applying AI for composite designs. The scientist is required to support both industry and R&D projects where process innovation, structural testing and material characterizations are needed. Experience in project management, grant writing and patent applications will be advantageous. Basic knowledge of material circularity, CAD design, finite-element analysis and algorithm development is required.
