About the job Science Lab Technician (Outram)
- Prepare classrooms and organize science equipment and materials for experiments and demonstrations.
- Assist teachers and students during experiments, performing routine maintenance on lab equipment and reporting issues.
- Manage inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals, monitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishment.
- Enforce safety SOPs, supervise students during lab activities, and assist in basic safety training.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials.
- Document incidents, inventory, and safety protocols accurately.
- Support teachers in planning lab activities and developing instructional materials.
- Assist with school photography for events and participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures.
