Sample Technician

This role supports the running of the GFC and Chromatography laboratory through use of LIMS ensuring accurate and timely sample registration & preparation. You will work closely with the registration team and both in house & subcontracted laboratory teams to meet deadlines, manage subcontracted work, and maintain high service standards. 

Please note this is a one year fixed term contract, working 39 hours per week. Depending on business needs the following shift patterns will be required:

• 07:45 - 16:15 Monday to Thursday, 07:45 - 15:15 Friday
• 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday, 09:00 - 16:30 Friday
• 11:30 - 20:00 Monday to Thursday, 11:30 - 19:00 Friday

Duties for this role will include:

• Support sample preparation and shipment to internal and external laboratories, including completion of customs paperwork.
