Safety Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Safety Plan Preparation & Implementation

• Prepare, submit, and implement the Project Safety Plan including CSHP, Foot Traffic Flow Plan, Safety Signage Layout and Visibility Plan, Emergency Response Plan, and Materials Handling & Pull-Out Procedures.
• Apply Japanese safety principles such as PDCA, 5S, and hazard anticipation (KY).
• Ensure safety plans are approved, communicated, posted, and enforced on site.

2. Daily Safety Cycle & Toolbox Exercises

• Lead daily toolbox meetings and safety exercises.
• Conduct KY hazard anticipation, PPE checking, and work-specific safety discussions.
• Enforce discipline and consistency in daily safety routines.
• Document attendance, safety topics, and photo records.

3. Site Safety Implementation

• Conduct daily safety inspections.
