Summary About the Position: This position is located at the US ARMY YUMA PROVING GROUND SAFETY DIRECTORATE with a duty location of YUMA PROVING GROUND / YUMA / ARIZONA. Serves as the Safety & Occupational Health Specialist GS -0018-12 (merit) Responsibilities Conduct compliance inspections of activity worksites to identify operational, facility, or system safety and occupational health deficiencies. Evaluate and advise on safety and occupational health surveillance and enforcement programs to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and OSHA safety standards. Review safety training programs to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and regulations. Investigate accidents and incidents causing injury or property damage and hazardous conditions that may cause serious injury or death.
