Manages all aspects of the plant health and safety program.
Promotes an incident-free work environment by developing programs to ensure a safe workplace.
Conduct and review all incident/accident investigations while monitoring workers’ compensation claims to assist in their rapid closure.
Advise management regarding the necessary safety and health information, along with any new regulatory requirements. Stay updated on state and federal laws, directives, standards, and codes dealing with employee safety and health.
Perform regular facility inspections to identify potential hazards individually and with the management team.
Prepare, schedule, and conduct safety training sessions on various safety-related topics.
