The Principal Engineer's purpose is to deliver projects that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability, contributing to the organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.
You utilize your technical expertise to develop safe and quality solutions in support of projects and discipline requirements without guidance. You ensure successful resolution of complex technical issues to meet projects and discipline deliverables. You engage with peers across Regional Centers to promote knowledge sharing and act as a consultant and mentor to less experienced engineers within the discipline to ensure knowledge transfer, product memory, and application of best practices.
