About the Role
A well-established client of ours is currently looking to employ an experienced Resident Engineer to join their team of professionals in KwaZulu-Natal.
Key Requirements:
- BEng | BSc | BTech Civil | Structural Engineering
- Advanced Knowledge of AutoCAD | Civil 3D
- Pr Eng | Pr Tech will be advantageous
- 10 Years’ Experience in Project Supervision on Civil & Building Projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Clients as well as preparing contractual documents in conjunction with the client
- Knowledge of contract administration and coordination
- Experience in construction monitoring and civil engineering works
- Ability to review contractor drawings and ensure conformity with design requirements
- Issue site instructions to the contractor on behalf of the client
- Submit payment certificates to contractors
