The project involves developing and refining a smartphone app to assess and monitor breathing patterns. This will support improved rehabilitation outcomes for patients with Breathing Pattern Disorder (BPD), a common but under-diagnosed cause of breathlessness. BPD is associated with frightening symptoms, so this project has the potential to transform rehabilitation outcomes and quality of life outcomes for patients.
