Job Description
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors for construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, aggregates, electrical fittings, and mechanical components).
- Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts in coordination with project managers and site supervisors.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
- Monitor purchase order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, track inventory levels, and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to prevent delays.
