Insight Global is seeking a Remote Systems Engineer III for our telecommunications client. This engineer will play a critical role in a large‑scale cable modem platform migration, supporting the transition from CommScope to Harmonic. The ideal candidate has deep hands‑on experience in DOCSIS environments, cable modem migrations, and ISP networks, along with strong documentation and procedural skills.
Day-to-Day:
Support a large‑scale migration project transitioning cable modems from CommScope to Harmonic
Write and execute Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for migration activities
Document completed work, changes, and outcomes in detail
Perform packet inspection and analysis using ActiveLogic or Sandvine
Configure cable modems and manage IP address assignment via DHCP platforms (Incognito or equivalent)
Collaborate with engineering and network teams to ensure smooth customer migrations
