Job Summary:
Responsible for conducting non-invasive vascular studies including ultrasound.
Essential Responsibilities:
+ Performs non-invasive vascular studies on patients with cerebrovascular, arterial, and venous problems in Vascular Laboratory to include complete examination of carotid and vertebral systems (upper and lower extremity arterial and venous systems and arteriovenous fistulae).
+ Prepares diagnostic testing protocols for patients with cerebrovascular, arterial, and venous disease.
+ Reviews patient histories and physicals for pertinent information aiding in final evaluation of test data through knowledge of cerebrovascular, arterial and venous diseases.
+ Prepares test data for analysis.
+ Maintains equipment and vascular database.
+ Computes and interprets statistical parameters associated with diagnostic test validation, including sensitivity, specificity and accu...
