About the Role
**Description**
The Leidos Technology and Digital Transformation Solutions Division is looking to add a part-time team member to our San Diego based utility telecom and networking team who can provide immediate impact on our backlog of design efforts. This position supports teleworking.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Participate as a member of our design team for a new utility control center.
+ Develop changes to and maintain inside and outside plant communications cabling infrastructure design drawings in Visio, Bluebeam or AutoCAD, write product specifications and descriptions for inside and outside plant cable infrastructure as needed.
+ Develop cabling and patching – fiber and copper - details for circuit interconnections.
+ Support the development of bills of material for communications cabling systems.
+ Develop test and migration approaches for new cabling systems.
