- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with vendors in line with day-to-day Ops.
- Fleet and Route Management
- Schedule truck arrival and departure effectively to reduce idle time, utilizing real-time adjustments.
- Develop optimal truck routing and implement strategies to maximize route efficiency and truck utilization while minimizing costs.
- Forecasting and Planning:
- Ensure consistent truck availability for transporting orders to hubs.
- Schedule daily truck call times, considering RC throughput and loading dock availability.
- Align all plans with MM operations and regularly review forecast accuracy.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts to anticipate transport needs accurately.
