About the Role

Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Warranty Quality Engineer. The role is responsible for implementing effective solutions for quality issues in warranties and assembly plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze product returns due to quality issues under warranty or from the factory and generate analysis reports.
  • Manage the warranty database for domestic and foreign returns.
  • Process warranty claims with domestic and international customers.
  • Participate in Quality Review Board projects with the multidisciplinary team for warranty‑reduction problems.
  • Monitor and follow up on established gates for warranty issues.
  • Contact domestic, international, and internal BorgWarner customers to respond to warranty issues reported on our products.
  • Control production checks sent to corporate and SLP lab and follow up on findings.
