Quality Assurance Officer

Main Purpose of the Job

The QA Officer ensures that software or application releases meet business requirements and will not negatively impact ongoing operations and production functionalities

Key Accountabilities

• Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates testing activities across other QA testers and Business User testers.
• Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Executes both manual and automated test cases for various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance.
• Identifies, isolates, and tracks bugs throughout testing.
• Identifies any potential problems that users might encounter.
• Documents software defects using a bug tracking system and reports defects to software developers.
• Researches and analyzes product features being tested.
• Provides testing progress updates.
• Supports UAT through test data creation.
