Purchasing Manager Direct (Tijuana)

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Purchasing Manager Direct located in Tijuana, Baja California. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Purchasing Manager Direct will oversee activities related to the procurement of Direct materials, parts, components and equipment, directing and coordinating personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.

• Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
• Establishes goals and objectives for the purchasing department.
• Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
• Manages and leads a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management objectives.
• Implements processes with suppliers to improve on‑time delivery and purchase price variance.
