Who are we?

RIVO is a network of approximately forty psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers and community workers concerned with the well‑being of survivors of torture and other forms of violence. The network maintains close ties with PRAIDA, the Clinique des demandeurs d’asile et réfugiés (CDAR), and several clinics and community organisations that refer patients to us. RIVO has become an indispensable support in dealing with the psychological suffering of people arriving in Quebec who have experienced traumatic situations and complex migratory trajectories. RIVO has solid experience in the administration of the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP).
