Prototype Technician II

Position Summary: Support the Prototype Lab in daily activities with the assembly of

prototype (sales and engineering) seats and general mock-ups using aluminum, steel, wood and foam etc. Technician II will operate machines to create/modify prototype parts/assemble.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Assist Prototype, Sales, and CDR Seats in developing new seats and/or parts.
• Build proto-type or mock-ups with aluminium, steel, wood, foam board
• Operate one or more of the following machine 3-Axis Mill, Lathe or 3D printer.
• Operate all the Prototyping lab supporting machinery including vertical saw, shear, chop saw etc.
• Assemble and reassemble development test seats.
• Ballast Dynamic test seats
• Operating Forklift
• Understand blueprint drawings and tolerances
