Plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Leads architecture/engineering firms and company engineers in developing initial project design criteria and layouts and schematic drawings for industrial construction projects. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique factory/ research lab operating requirements and building safety codes. Leads engineers, consultants, and company procurement professionals to develop bid documents for construction and facilities acquisition.
