Project Engineer

Role Overview

Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, the Underground Project Engineer is responsible for underground construction projects from design, print preparation, cost estimating and work supervision. Key Responsibilities

Prepare the designs for UG construction projects and present them to stakeholders for approval; Prepare the detailed technical drawings for construction projects; Order and track the material required for construction projects; Present construction projects to UG personnel, with additional focus on construction methodology and safe production; Coordinate projects that require multiple departments by ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and involved; Project follow up: site visits, quality control, cost control and adherence to plan; Site inspections for future projects, establishing work necessary before mobilization; Responsible for mine dewatering system design and deployment; Maintain weekly construction schedule and communicate ...
