Program Analyst (Patient Care Services)

Summary The Program Analyst position supports health system decision-making, clinical informatics, and management functions as a member of the Office of Patient Care Services located at the Battle Creek VAMC. The work includes specialized support services for facility performance measures and performance improvement as it relates to Patient Care Services and nursing practice across the medical center and is responsible for overall analysis and preparation of recommendations for all nursing programs. Responsibilities Major Duties include, but are not limited to: Utilizes VSSC, Pyramid Analytics and other applications to perform sophisticated data analysis, including extracting data from internal and external databases, analyzing and interpreting complex data using basic statistical models, and designing and preparing user friendly reports.
