Program Analyst

Summary About the Position: Serves as a Program Analyst for a field project office, supporting one or more projects, performing analytical and evaluative work on various aspects of the Operations Division's operating and budgetary programs. Serves as principal assistant on matters pertaining to the project's budget formulation and execution, and assumes responsibility for administrative management functions of the project. Responsibilities Prepare reports on program/budget progress and make recommendations concerning program goals. Forecast funding needed to support objectives of the annual work plan through extrapolation of historical data. Participate in preparing detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs. Evaluate requests for funds to assure that projects are effectively planned within overall program cost and schedule.
