The University of Eastern Finland invites applications for the position of Professor of Data Engineering, with emphasis on data analysis methods, at the School of Computing of the Faculty of Science, Forestry and Technology on the Kuopio or Joensuu campus. The position will be filled from 1 September 2026 (or as agreed).

Role and salary

This role offers the opportunity to conduct and lead pioneering research in data engineering and AI‑based data analysis methods, to supervise doctoral students, and to contribute to national and international education.
