Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor supervises operational activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality.

JOB TASKS

• Responsible for overseeing employees to ensure safety, quality and adherence to policies and procedures
• Motivates employees to strive to exceed productivity targets
• Ensures adherence to all SQF standards such as prevention of contaminated product and glass and brittle plastics
• Monitors and reports on employee attendance
• Schedules and reports vacation time while ensuring equipment is not short-staffed
• Executes an efficient production schedule through the utilization of people, material, and machines to meet customer requirements
• Performs daily team meetings to communicate organizational objectives to employees along with their shift specific performance
