About the Role
General:
The production process operator is responsible for maintaining and servicing the manufacturing processes to ensure a top-quality product is safely and efficiently delivered to internal /external customers. Responsibilities include inspection, positioning, and placement of whole or parts of large birds. Hanging, cutting, trimming, and inspecting parts of birds. The position reports to the process supervisor w/ primary work schedule of day shift , Mon. - Thurs. 7am - 5:30pm OR Tues. - Fri., 5am - 3:30pm, with flexibility to work early/ late shift, short notice overtime, and weekends, as needed.
Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for safely operating and maintaining product flow for various equipment and conveying systems including hanging whole or bird parts, cutting, trimming, loading and unloading parts of birds.
+ Safely uses tools, e.g. knives & scissors to prepare poultry parts for further processing
